  • Kwangju Women’s University Educational Broadcasting Station (KEBS) held the 16th Eodeung Broadcasting Festival.

  • Ko Seon-wook, a second-year student in the Department of Dental Hygiene, received a commendation from the Head of Dong-gu Office, Gwangju Metropolitan City.

  • Professor Jung Sung-il received the 2015 Asia Culture Award.

  • Kwangju Women’s University conducted MAUM-sharing volunteer service by delivering kimchi to soldiers of the Army 31st Infantry Division.

  • The Department of Interior Design won the Gold Prize and Silver Prize at the 2015 Korea Spatial Design National Competition.

  • The Department of Dental Hygiene received the Outstanding Poster Award at the General Academic Conference of the Korean Society of Dental Hygiene for the fourth consecutive year.

  • Municipal Bodeumi Nanumi Daycare Center was selected for the Grand Prize in the Childcare Activity Photo Contest.

  • The KK Specialized Project Group (BFSD) held a youth outing with senior citizens.

  • Shin Chae-young of the Department of Beauty Science won the silver medal at the National Skills Competition.

  • The Department of MAUM Sharing Education selected and awarded the October MAUM Sharing Students and Happiness Sharing Students.

  • The Department of Airline Service won the Grand Prize and Excellence Award at the 2015 Korean Culture Industry Association Paper Presentation Contest.

  • Conducted the Korean cultural experience event for international students for the second half of the 2015 academic year from Thursday, October 1 to Saturday, October 3.

  • Held an invited lecture for the “Great Special Lecture on MAUM Education.”

  • Held the 2015 Chuseok Night event for international students.
