What is “University Institutional Accreditation”?

University institutional accreditation is a system that determines whether a university meets the basic requirements as an educational institution and grants social trust by publicly announcing the results to society.

Accreditation Implementing Agency

Conducted by the Korean University Accreditation Institute, which has been designated by the Ministry of Education as an accreditation agency for higher education institutions.

Purpose

The purpose of university institutional accreditation is to establish a higher education quality assurance system for international compatibility and the promotion of exchange and cooperation by presenting accreditation standards that enable universities to meet the minimum basic requirements and characteristics as educational institutions in response to the global higher education quality management system, thereby strengthening universities’ domestic and international competitiveness and establishing accountability for improving the quality of higher education.

What is “Nursing Education Accreditation Evaluation”?

Nursing education accreditation evaluation is a system that officially verifies and recognizes whether educational outcomes, curriculum operation, and educational conditions meet the requirements of the nation, society, and the nursing profession in order to promote the qualitative development of nursing education and support and manage nursing students’ outcomes.

Purpose

The purpose of nursing education accreditation evaluation is to support nursing education programs in managing the quality of nursing education through continuous program improvement based on an outcomes-oriented education system, so that the programs can produce students equipped with the nursing competencies required in domestic and international healthcare settings.

What is “Health Information Management Education Evaluation and Accreditation”?

Health Information Management Education Evaluation and Accreditation is a system that objectively verifies whether a university’s educational program is equipped to produce graduates with the competencies required by the times and society, in line with the ideal profile of health information management professionals required by the Korea Health Information Management Education Evaluation Institute, and officially accredits learning outcomes.

Accreditation Implementing Agency

Conducted by the Korea Health Information Management Education Evaluation Institute, authorized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Purpose

To promote the development of health information management education and contribute to producing qualified health information management professionals by ensuring that health information management education programs, or curricula, are equipped with the necessary elements of educational composition and an outcomes-oriented education system, and that they continuously improve and manage the quality of education.

What is “Accreditation Evaluation for Animal Health Technician Training Institutions”?

Accreditation evaluation for animal health technician training institutions is a system that requires evaluation and accreditation by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for an appropriate educational completion system and educational environment for training animal health technicians, in order to promote the training and production of qualified animal health technicians through the standardization of education for animal health technician training and to enable the animal health technician system to contribute to veterinary medical services and the companion animal industry in Korea.

Purpose

To establish a system capable of training and supplying animal health technicians required in animal medical settings through accreditation evaluation of schools or educational institutions that intend to operate animal health technician training programs.
