The Department of Culinary Arts, Patisserie and Baking cultivates professionals equipped with practical abilities in culinary fields, including Korean, Western, Chinese, Japanese, Mediterranean cuisine, catering, and party and in-flight meals; patisserie and baking fields, including French pastries, traditional French cakes, advanced entremets, chocolate decoration, French bread, and European bread; food and beverage fields, including coffee, wine, and cocktails; and the foodservice industry, including store operation, startup, and service management. Graduates may advance as hotel chefs, restaurant cooks, and menu developers. In the field of patisserie and baking, the department specializes in French patisserie and baking, enabling students to pursue careers as pâtissiers, bakers, bakery operators, café entrepreneurs, and research and development professionals at confectionery companies. |
