Selected as an Excellent Business Incubation Center and received an institutional commendation from the Administrator of the Small and Medium Business Administration.

The Special Education Major was newly established in the Graduate School of Education; the Department of Therapeutic Special Education was newly established in the teacher education division with an admission quota of 20 students; and the Department of Occupational Therapy was newly established in the health sciences division with an admission quota of 30 students.

At the 38th National Men’s and Women’s Archery Championships by Division, Jin Soon-young placed second overall individually, first at 50m, and second at 70m, while Du Ga-young placed second at 30m.

Held the 2004 Freshman Entrance Ceremony, with 524 undergraduate students and 74 graduate students.

As part of university structural reform, the undergraduate admission quota was reduced by 230 students, 13 departments were abolished, eight departments were newly established, and the graduate school admission quota was reduced by 10 students; the 2003 Commencement Ceremony was held.

Shin Kyung-jin placed first overall individually at the Nagoya Indoor Archery Tournament in Japan.
